Anahita Foroutan grew up in Merced, CA where she discovered her passion for being an advocate for others. Many years ago this took the form of inserting herself into verbal scuttles on the playground. These days, it is in the form of taking on the legal system by helping people deal with some of their worst days.

Ms. Foroutan has extensive legal education. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2019 where she majored in Legal Studies and Politics, with a concentration in International Politics. Right after graduating college, Ms. Foroutan attended UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law), where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2022 with a concentration in International Law. While in law school, Ms. Foroutan worked at an immigration firm and did work with a refugee law clinic. Right after graduating law school, Ms. Foroutan moved back to the Central Valley and passed the Bar Exam in 2022. At that time, Ms. Foroutan was working with the Fresno County Public Defender's Office. She has since gone on to do legal and financial work for her family business upon returning to her hometown of Merced. Now Ms. Foroutan is ready to help her community through the legal expertise she has gained.
